Does ChatGPT recommend you? I built the thing that checks.

Someone in Tucson asks ChatGPT for a plumber. A business gets named, or it doesn't. No plumber in Tucson could find out which. Now they can.

The engine

One question per city, phrased the way a customer would: "best dentist in Boise." Four AIs answer. The engine matches every name in the answers against the Google Maps top ten for the same search.

The hard part is not asking. It's refusing to be impressed. A business is credited only if the AI's answer contains its exact name, and the answers are shown word for word. No score for "sounds like you."

What it found

In 500 of 606 cities, the business that ranks first on Google Maps is not named by any AI. Of 2,535 businesses the AIs did name, only 47 were named by all four. The AIs are recommending someone else, and they don't agree with each other. That's the product: show a business the gap, then close it.

What's around it

  • One audit page per business and city, generated in the background: the answers, the Maps rank, a profile score, the gaps.
  • A client portal that re-checks weekly, so a business watches itself appear.
  • An admin dashboard, a public API, and a cost of about half a cent per city.

Why it's on this page

Because it's the whole job in one build: call AI models at scale, keep them honest, turn the output into something an owner can read, and ship it. The hour is the same job at the size of one task.

The task you're thinking of right now. That one.

Twenty minutes, free. By the end of the call you'll know if an hour fixes it.

No pitch. No deck. If it's not a fit, I'll say so.
