n8n vs Make vs Zapier: which one should your business use?
Pick the wrong automation tool and you either overpay every month or hit a wall. Here's how the three compare on price, ease of use and what they can do, and which one I'd pick for you.

What it does
- Price: Zapier costs the most, about $129 a month for 10,000 runs. Make is cheaper.
- Self-hosted n8n costs only hosting, from $6 a month and about $25 to $30 for heavy use.
- Ease of use: Zapier is easiest, with 10,000+ point-and-click integrations. Make is close. n8n takes more setup.
- Flexibility: n8n lets you add custom code, scraping and your own add-ons. Zapier and Make are more limited.
- My pick: Zapier if you're new, Make if you're a bit technical, self-hosted n8n if you're technical or budget-minded.
