Daily team check-ins without the meeting
Daily check-in meetings pull the whole team onto a call just to hear updates. I built this bot for my own developers: it collects each person's update by message and posts one AI summary.
What it does
- Every weekday at 7 a.m., the bot messages each team member privately.
- It asks what they did yesterday, what's planned today, any blockers, and anything the team should know.
- When someone replies, AI turns the answer into a short summary and posts it in the team channel.
- The bot thanks them and logs the check-in, so it knows who has answered.
- At 11 a.m., it posts a list of anyone who hasn't checked in.
Who it's for
Owners with a remote team who want a written update from everyone each morning without running a daily call.
What changes
You read each person's update in one channel by mid-morning and see who's blocked or missing, without pulling anyone into a meeting.
